Orchid Kite in Blue

Working with natural flowers, artisans craft these pretty earrings, presented by Danai in Thailand. The blue and purple petals are from actual dendrobium orchids; their beauty is preserved forever in a coating of resin. Blue pearl-like beads dangling beneath the petals are made from eco-friendly paper that is crafted from cleaning and dyeing elephant dung fiber. The long earrings swing from sterling silver hooks.
