Nature lovers will rejoice in Raphat Asigbey's colorful mask. Artisans in Ghana carry out Raphat's vision by hand carving the mask from local sese wood with a plant motif, then covering the cheeks and forehead in textured aluminum plate. The artisan calls his mask Elike, a Ghanaian Ewe word that means, 'rooted on solid grounds.'
