Penyu Paradise

Komang Wijayana celebrates one of the Bali's thriving species in these lovely earrings. Sterling silver sea turtles feature exquisite openwork motifs as they surround two dazzling amethyst gemstones. Bali and Java are home to six out of seven species of the world's sea turtle population and is a refuge for nesting grounds and habitats. The artist names this pair Penyu, which is the Bahasa Indonesia word for 'sea turtle.'
