"Jewelry is my life, I don't think I could live without that which impassions me. Each design is like a child to me.

"My father passed away when I was 10 years old, and my mother looked after the seven of us on her own. My artistic formation began when I was 12 years old, when my older sister married Carlos Vidal, an experienced silversmith. I was an apprentice at his workshop, and then became a master silversmith too.

"When I was 25, I decided to start my own workshop and eventually was able to offer training as well as employment to others. I have always been very supportive of the people in my workshop, and even after they leave, they always invite me to family celebrations. For example, there used to be a young man working with me part time as he studied for a degree in engineering. Others have moved on and opened their own workshops. All keep dropping by for a visit and respect me like a second father.

"I love the thrill of working on new designs, and I don't stop until I achieve what I imagined the design to look like. One of the most beautiful things about this art is that you aim to please many women.

"My family is the driving force behind my art - for them I give everything.

"I try to share the experiences I have accumulated through my designs featuring different textures, so the people collaborating with me can feel what it's like to create something intended to please many people's satisfaction.

"I've participated in several fairs and traveled to Ecuador and Chile through my work. My greatest challenge was when I received a commission of 45 kilos to be completed within six weeks, which thanks to God I managed to do.

"I would like to tell Novica clients that you may rest assured you will find in my collections something for every taste, and of very good quality. I have a strong a sense of social responsibility toward my collaborators. I, Victor Williams, promise you to always give it my best effort so you may be satisfied with our work."
