Harvesting Joy

Eleodora Salvatierra works in the traditional Peruvian art of arpillera (appliqué) to share the rich colors of a floral harvest. Her attention to detail is marvellous as she includes ladybugs and a snail on the ground, a bird and butterflies midair, and pigs eating happily in the distance. The three dimensional images are in full color, bringing to life a happy scene in this handcrafted wall hanging.
