One of the region's most important dances, legong kraton is typically performed by court attendants, telling stories and legends. Nyoman Indrawati Subrata of the Subrata Family hand-carves the intricate image of rich suar wood. The artisan carries on the extraordinary art work of her late father, Nyoman Subrata.
